The Qika Collection

Lacquer (Maki-e) Art had been known to the Chinese since at least the Shang Dynasty (around 1600 BC – 1046 BC), and in Japan since 7000 BC. Some of these priceless ancient lacquer artifacts can still be found in private collections and museums.


The Qika Collection of 7different designs is the marriage of avant garde design pens of Loiminchay with traditional Maki-e paintings.
